(LYNBROOK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) commemorated International Women’s Day at the Creative Art Space for Kids (CASK) Gallery’s annual Women Making History Awards ceremony on Sunday, March 9. “Women’s History Month – and International Women’s Day in particular – is a time to celebrate the remarkable trailblazers who have moved our society forward,” Legislator Solages said “It was an honor to join CASK in congratulating their honorees at this meaningful celebration, and I applaud all of the deserving honorees for their tremendous contributions to the betterment of our community.”
