(VALLEY STREAM, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) and New York State Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages rang in the holiday season at the Green Acres Mall on Wednesday, Nov. 20, where leaders of local churches and organizations received turkeys that were later distributed throughout the community to brighten Thanksgiving for deserving families. “For several years, Green Acres Mall and the Macerich Corporation have demonstrated their generosity by organizing a well-executed turkey distribution for various organizations representing diverse community groups, cultures, and faiths,” Legislator Solages said. “Our community is deeply grateful for the strong relationship we share with our corporate partners and looks forward to continuing our efforts to help even more people in the future.”
