(ELMONT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) recently celebrated the grand opening of the Elmont Career Center – which is dedicated to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals with education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs). “I am very proud of Mireille Jumeau RN- BSN for working so diligently to launch the Elmont Career Center – an endeavor which will empower people to secure a future in healthcare,” Legislator Solages said. “It is great that we have this resource right here in Elmont to help members of our local community secure the certifications they need to launch their careers.”
