(EAST MEADOW, N.Y.) – To show his appreciation to healthcare workers for their ongoing response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages (D – Valley Stream) purchased savory Caribbean patties for doctors, nurses, and essential staff at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) on Friday, May 15.
“Our medical professionals have shown extraordinary resilience during these unprecedented times and their efforts must not go unnoticed,” Legislator Solages said. “This is the least I could do to show my appreciation to their hard work and dedication to our residents.
