[ARCHIVED] Legislator Siela Bynoe to Host Citizens Preparedness Training Programs in Hempstead and Westbury

Who: Nassau County Legislator Siela Bynoe (D-Westbury)

What: Legislator Siela Bynoe joins Governor Andrew Cuomo, Senators Kemp Hannon and Jack Martins with Assemblywoman Earlene Hooper and Assemblyman Charles Lavine to sponsor two Citizens Preparedness Training programs in her district.
The programs are designed to give residents the proper tools and resources to prepare for emergencies and disasters as well as recovering after a disaster.
Space is limited. All attendees must register in advance by visiting or call Legislator Bynoe’s office at (516) 571-6202. Upon completion of the 2 hour course, attendees will receive a certificate and backpack filled with hurricane essentials. Limit 1 per family.

When//Where: Residents can attend one of the following programs: Monday, September 29th from 6:00 8:30 p.m. at the Hempstead Public Library; or Tuesday, September 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the “Yes We Can” Community Center in Westbury.
