(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislators Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) and Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) joined the New Greater Hempstead Chamber of Commerce and the Hempstead community on Friday, June 6 in celebrating important milestones for two local businesses. Joined by Chamber President Dr. LaShawn Lukes, Legislators Davis and Nicks congratulated owners Jin Pan and Yu Zhao as they marked the eighth anniversary for their Eternal Deli and celebrated the grand opening of their adjoining Sweet Tea House.
“Local business owners do so much to strengthen our communities and make our downtowns more vibrant and prosperous - and this is an outstanding success story in the heart of Hempstead Village,” Legislator Davis said. “Congratulations on reaching these milestones – I wish you all the best on many more successful years serving the community!”
