(BALDWIN, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined the Baldwin Civic Association and community members at Baldwin Park for the organization’s annual Spring Eggstravagnza and Bazaar on Saturday, March 28.
Four community egg hunts were held throughout the event, and the first hour was exclusively reserved for neurodivergent children and their families. There were also games, face-painting, tattoos, food and drinks, raffles, cotton candy and entertainment from local Baldwin talent.
“Every year, the Baldwin Civic Association’s Eggstravaganza gets bigger and better – and opening the festivities with a special session for our neurodivergent friends made the event even more special and inclusive,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “We appreciate all that the Baldwin Civic does throughout the year to advocate for the community.”
“During the holidays and all throughout the year, it is so important to support our local artists and entrepreneurs so that they continue to serve our communities and enrich our lives,” Legislator Davis said.
