(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) proudly joined the Rockville Centre community and his colleagues in government at the annual Heroes Day festivities at the Rockville Centre Library on Friday, Aug. 15.
The event gives the community a family-friendly forum to thank Rockville Centre’s first responders, including the Fire Department, Police Department, and EMTs, and their dedication to serving and protecting the community.
“Rockville Centre’s first responders exemplify the spirit of selfless service, and it is important to create opportunities for families and especially our youth to interact with them and appreciate their efforts,” Legislator Davis said. “It was a privilege to join my neighbors as we honored our everyday heroes – each of whom works tirelessly to help and protect all of us in the community.”
