(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined the community and his colleagues in government at Hempstead High School on Saturday, April 25 for the annual Hempstead My Brother’s Keeper symposium. The day of mentoring, learning and empowerment featured a series of speakers, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and more.
“Organizations like My Brother’s Keeper share my passion for mentorship, and their efforts change lives and empower young men to improve their lives and give back to their communities,” Legislator Davis said. “It is always an honor and a pleasure to return to my alma mater for an event that empowers our next generation of leaders, and I applaud the leaders of Hempstead My Brother’s Keeper for their hard work throughout the year.”
