(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined parishioners at the Macedonia Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Hempstead on Saturday, April 18 for the opening night of the Church’s 45th anniversary celebration. “Hempstead and its neighboring communities are blessed with the presence of many vibrant faith communities, and Macedonia Seventh-Day Adventist Church is one that has grown, evolved, and thrived during the last four and a half decades,” Legislator Davis said. “Thank you for inviting me to be a part of this milestone celebration of your commitment to a tradition of faith, service and community.”
