(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – This weekend, Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) met the proprietors of Made Juice Bar in Hempstead Village. En route to a community event at Kennedy Park, he enjoyed some fresh summertime refreshments at the pop-up juice bar, which operates on Saturdays and Sundays at the Hempstead Fire Department’s Long Beach Road station house. “Melissa, Takeiah and their entire team make a delicious blueberry lemonade – and it’s just one of their many refreshing and inventive offerings,” Legislator Davis said. “I’m so glad I stopped by – I encourage you to visit them this weekend or check them out on Instagram @madenyc__.”
