(HEMPSTEAD and BALDWIN, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) proudly supported National Night Out events held at Hempstead Village’s Denton Green and Baldwin Memorial High School on Tuesday, Aug. 5.
Held in thousands of communities each year on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out seeks to promote “police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.”
“These events captured everything that National Night Out is supposed to be – an evening filed with families and friends having fun and building relationships with local law enforcement, first responders, and the community and civic organizations that serve and strengthen our communities,” Legislator Davis said. “Thank you to the Village of Hempstead as well as New York State Senator Siela Bynoe, New York State Assemblywoman Judy Griffin and my Legislative colleague, Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé, for all of your hard work in making these events in Hempstead and Baldwin a great success!”
