(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) proudly joined the Rockville Centre Coalition for Youth at a Wednesday, July 9 reception honoring Dr. Harvey Manes for his support of the organization, which is committed to reducing substance abuse in the community with a focus on youth.
“As the Rockville Centre Coalition for Youth continues to face unprecedented concerns about the future of its federal funding, this $25,000 contribution from the Manes Peace Prize Foundation will serve as an essential bridge and help to ensure the continuation of vital programs,” Legislator Davis said. “I applaud Dr. Manes for his philanthropy and thank the RVC Coalition for Youth for their unwavering commitment to serving our community.”
