(BALDWIN, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined New York State Senator Siela A. Bynoe and Assemblymember Judy Griffin in congratulating the Bronze Award winners from Girl Scout Troop 2210 during the Meadow Elementary School’s Multicultural Festival in Baldwin on Wednesday, April 22. Featuring a language storybook and new welcome wall mural, their bronze Award project, “Words That Welcome – One School, Many Languages” highlights the diversity of languages, culture and cuisine in the greater community.
“Baldwin’s diversity makes it one of the most vibrant and beautiful communities in our region, and Troop 2210 has done an excellent job highlighting this truth through their Bronze Award project,” Legislator Davis said. “Legislator Debra Mulé and I join our colleagues in congratulating these superb young leaders for all they have done to celebrate diversity and make the school’s multicultural festival even more special!”
