(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) proudly joined the leaders of the ABBA Leadership Center, Hempstead School Board Trustee Joylette Williams, his colleagues in government and the greater Hempstead Village community on Saturday, Aug. 23 for the ABBA’s 20th annual back-to-school celebration. “For the last two decades, the ABBA Leadership Center has fulfilled its credo of ‘lives under construction’ by supporting our future leaders as they return to the classroom,” Legislator Davis said. “I thank Elder Reginald Benjamin and Rev. Dr. Lynwood Deans for their commitment to ensuring that Hempstead students enter the school year equipped to thrive!”
