(BALDWIN, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) welcomed dozens of constituents to the Baldwin Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 5 for their “Meet Your Legislator” community forum.
Under the most recent reapportionment of Nassau’s legislative districts, Legislator Davis now represents portions of Baldwin that were formerly served by Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé. The forum included a presentation on the new district parameters, discussion of upcoming events, and a question-and-answer session with constituents.
“It has been a privilege to serve the people of Nassau County alongside Legislator Davis during the last two years,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Now that we share the community of Baldwin across our respective districts, I am looking forward to working even more closely with him to continue meeting the community’s needs.”
“During the last two years, I have remained committed to a community-first approach to my work in the Legislature and deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people,” Legislator Davis said. “It was a pleasure to join Legislator Mulé at this forum, and I thank everyone for this opportunity to introduce myself, and I look forward to accomplishing great things together.”
