(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) proudly supported the Taste of Rockville Centre, a Saturday, July 25 fundraising event benefiting the Loving Loic Foundation and Madeline's Mission. One hundred percent went directly to the Loving Loic Foundation to support critical research aimed at developing treatments—and ultimately a cure—for PKAN, a rare and devastating neurodegenerative disease that affects children.
“Rockville Centre has truly rallied around Madeline Norton and her family in their courageous battle and their advocacy to deliver a cure for PKAN is going to make a real difference in the lives of all who are confronted with this tremendous challenge,” Legislator Davis said. “Kudos to Sal Buglione of Nick's Pizza in Rockville Centre for stepping up to host this event, and I extend a special thank-you to Sandra Agozzino for your warm welcome and outstanding hospitality.”
