(ROOSEVELT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) recently joined the Roosevelt community in celebrating Ann Hickson’s retirement after 10 years of service on the Roosevelt Public Library Board of Trustees.
“True to the theme of the evening’s celebration, her tenure was indeed a ‘decade of love,’ and that was made evidently clear through her tireless dedication,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I wish her all the best as she begins this new chapter and thank her for demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the Roosevelt community and its youth!”
“Community libraries are invaluable portals to a world of knowledge and exploration, and leaders like Ann Hickson are instrumental in providing these opportunities to the communities they serve,” Legislator Davis said. “I congratulate her on her decade of service to the Roosevelt community and wish her great success in all of her future endeavors.”
