(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined the Cedarmore Corporation at Hofstra University on Saturday, May 2 for the 2026 Girlz Talk “Confidence Built – Brick by Brick” seminar.
Presentations and activities during the full-day program focused on educating, empowering, and motivating an audience of young girls from across Long Island and the five boroughs. The event is part of a series of critical conversations, interactive workshops and keynotes designed to educate and empower girls ages 11 and up.
“For more than a quarter of a century, the Cedarmore Corporation has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to equipping our youth to excel and thrive – and the Girlz Talk series is a cornerstone of their important work,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “It was wonderful to see such an enthusiastic response to this program, and it reminds us of how important it is to provide these resources for our next generation of leaders.”
