(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and her colleagues in state government visited the Brookside Preserve in Freeport/Baldwin on Saturday, Oct. 3, where they thanked leaders and volunteers from the Environmental Rotaract NC LI for their dedication to the ongoing Brookside East Gate restoration project.
“The efforts of volunteer organizations like Nassau County’s Environmental Rotaract contribute greatly toward making Brookside Preserve something we can all enjoy and appreciate throughout the year,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I appreciate all of the groups that are focusing their attention on one of Nassau County’s true natural treasures!”
