(FREEPORT and MERRICK, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) congratulated the new slate of officers for the Rotary Club of Freeport-Merrick Rotary at the organization’s installation dinner on Thursday, June 18. During the installation, which was held at Bobby Q’s in Freeport, Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé honored incoming President Kerry Esmay, Executive Secretary DeRosette Harrison, Secretary Ari Case and Treasurer Marc Rigeur, and thanked outgoing members for their service to the community.
“For more than 80 years, the motto of ‘service above self’ has guided Freeport and Merrick Rotarians as they endeavor to improve their communities,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “These new officers are building upon a storied and impactful tradition, and I applaud them for stepping up in the spirit of giving back and helping others!”
