(UNIONDALE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined the Long Island Dental Society and her colleagues in government at Uniondale’s Cradle of Aviation Museum on Friday, Feb. 6 for the annual “Give Kids A Smile Day”, through which thousands of youngsters from every part of Nassau County are invited to receive free dental care. “Money should never be a barrier to receiving essential dental care – and through this program, the Long Island Dental Society has provided access to countless families during the last two decades,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Thanks to the generosity of numerous collaborators, including participating students from the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, we are helping children become less fearful of the dentist and better acclimated to routine dental care. I am so grateful that our communities have access to such a wonderful resource!”
