(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined the Long Island Arts Council at Freeport on Sunday, Oct. 4 for the Arty Party Brunch – a celebration of 50 years of supporting and strengthening local artists. This year’s honorees included:
- Kirk Larsen - 2026 The Arts Recognition Tribute (ARTY) Award
- Jack Holly - 2026 Founder’s Award
- Greg Ingino - Community Service Award
- Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center - Education Through the Arts Award
- Toby Walker - Alexander Schanzer Memorial Smart with Art Award
“The growth of Freeport’s vibrant and diversified art scene is directly attributable to the work of organizations like the Long Island Arts Council, and this year’s honorees shine an important light upon how the arts touch our lives in so many ways,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Congratulations to all of the Arty Party’s deserving honorees and thank you to the Arts Council for five decades of dedication!”
