(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) proudly attended the second mixer for Freeport Pride at Jeremy’s Ale House on Friday, April 24. The mixer was the second in a series of events leading up to the Saturday, May 30 summer kickoff celebration at Harbor Social. Proceeds of Freeport Pride will benefit PFY’s suicide prevention initiatives, the Long Island Pride Lions, and antibullying grants for youth.
“Freeport’s spirit of openness and acceptance is one of the many reasons I am so grateful to have raised my family in this community – one that celebrates and embraces the LGBTQ+ community with open arms and hearts,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “As a lifelong ally, I am both thrilled and inspired by Freeport Pride’s philanthropic mission. Thank you to José and Joseph for leading the way, and to Jeremy’s Ale House for being such gracious hosts!”
