(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) recently had the pleasure of welcoming Susan Dunbar and Patricia Charlamagne from Girls Inc. of Long Island to her office for conversations about the organization’s mission and work.
Girls Inc. of Long Island provides school and community-based programming geared toward meeting the unique needs of girls ages 5 to 18. Like similar regional chapters throughout the country, Girls Inc. Long Island strives to help girls achieve their full potential and pave the way for a brighter future.
“Through their programming, Girls Inc. inspires confidence, cultivates essential skills, and empowers our next generation of young leaders. In doing so, they are strengthening the foundation for a more equitable future for young women across our region,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I look forward to collaborating with Susan, Patricia, and the entire team at Girls Inc. to build a better future for the young women who will lead Nassau in the years to come.”
