(EAST MEADOW, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) recently met with Nassau University Medical Center CEO Thomas Stokes and his Chief of Staff, John Donnelly. “During my visit, we had a candid discussion about the current state of NUMC, essential reforms that must occur, and our responsibility to preserve this regionally significant safety net hospital and Level 1 trauma center,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I believe the hospital’s administrative leadership has a deep understanding of the challenges they face, and I look forward to continuing to support them as they move forward with transparency and implement their plan to stabilize the hospital’s future.”
