(SYOSSET, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined crime victim advocates and her colleagues in celebrating the grand opening of the Crime Victims Center and Parents for Megan’s Law’s new Syosset headquarters on Friday, April 24. “As a social worker, I know how important it is for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and all crimes to have a centralized resource that can support them in their hour of greatest need,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Amidst April’s observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, it was especially meaningful to stand alongside Laura Ahearn and her team as they achieved this important milestone in our County.”
