(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) visited the Caroline G. Atkinson Intermediate School’s Career Day on Friday, May 15, where she had the opportunity to share her insights and life experiences as a guest presenter during the event. Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé discussed her duties and responsibilities as an elected official; explained how her life led her onto its current path, and the obstacles and challenges she overcame to reach her goals.

“My public service journey began in the Freeport PTA and the Freeport School Board, so it is always special when I have the chance to speak with the young people who will lead us to a better future,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Thank you to everyone at the Atkinson School, to Mrs. Kilduff-Smith for facilitating a wonderful conversation, and all of her students for their wonderful questions!”
