(ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) proudly attended the Environmental Rotaract Club of Nassau County Long Island’s inaugural installation dinner at Macarthur Park in Rockville Centre on Monday, July 14. An extension of the Freeport-Merrick Rotary Club, Rotaract is an organization of established professionals who share a passion for the pursuit of environmental activism and justice through community service.
“Climate change and its impacts are a growing threat to communities around the world – and the hazards are especially great for coastal communities like Freeport and Merrick,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “ I am glad that I could be a part of this club’s launch, and I wish its board and members all the best as they pursue their vital public service mission.”
