(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) attended the grand opening of the Long Island Arts Council’s Hispanic Heritage Month art exhibition at the Freeport Recreation Center on Thursday, Sept. 18. “Each day, Nassau County’s Hispanic communities make tremendous contributions to our Main Street business districts, our culture and our entire society,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Thank you to Jefte for sharing his talents with our community and the Long Island Arts Council for spearheading this exhibition at the Freeport Recreation Center.”
“Hispanic Heritage Month is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the vibrancy and resilience of diverse cultures that enrich the tapestry of our nation,” Legislator Koslow said. “This exhibition and Jefte’s personal journey beautifully embody the spirit of this observance, and it was a pleasure to join him as he unveiled his exhibition in the Freeport Recreation Center.”
