(BALDWIN, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined the Baldwin community in celebrating the 50th anniversary St. Christopher’s Feast at the Parish of St. Christopher on Thursday, July 17. The four-day festival featured live music each evening as well as booths, games, rides and tables hosted by an array of community stakeholders like the Baldwin Fire Department.
“The St. Christopher’s Feast has grown to become a cherished community tradition that grows stronger year after year, and it is all because of the tireless efforts of the organizers and so many dedicated volunteers,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Congratulations to everyone on making the feast such a tremendous success in its milestone year – we are all looking forward to many more years of zeppoles, community, and family fun!”
“Each summer, the St. Christopher’s Feast brings the Baldwin community together for family fun, great music, and memories that last a lifetime,” Legislator Davis said. “It was a pleasure to be part of the festivities in its golden anniversary, and I commend the organizers and volunteers who work so diligently each year in service to all who attend and enjoy the celebration.”
