(OCEANSIDE, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined leaders and supporters of the Kiwanis Club of Oceanside in celebrating the organization’s 80th anniversary during the club’s Thursday, Oct. 16 installation dinner. Held at Kombert Caterers at Temple Avodah, Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé joined the community in recognizing ‘Heart of Gold’ and ‘Special Service’ award winners Michael Puma and Dr. Allison Glickman-Rogers.
“Oceanside’s Kiwanis Club has been making a positive impact on local families, and creating opportunities to give back for eight decades,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “Both Michael and Dr. Glickman-Rogers embody the philanthropic spirit that makes the Club so effective and resilient to the present day, and their continued dedication to local youth and uplifting our community is truly deserving of this high honor.
