(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined the Freeport community for their inaugural Pirate Fest on Sunday, Oct. 5. The action began at the Kids Cove at Sparkle on Stage, and vendors, local businesses and families filled the Nautical Mile for a day of waterfront fun. “Freeport’s rich nautical history makes our community unique, and Pirate Fest captures that spirit in a fun and exciting new way,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I’m glad to see this first-time event was a success, and I’m looking forward to seeing it grow and become the newest Nautical Mile tradition.”
