Legislator Mulé Supports Mental Health Association’s “Gone But Not Forgotten” Walk At Jones Beach

(WANTAGH, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined the Mental Health Association of Nassau County at Jones Beach on Saturday, Oct. 4 for their annual “Gone But Not Forgotten” overdose awareness and prevention walk-a-thon. 

“No family has been spared by the opioid drug crisis in our nation, and organizations like the Mental Health Association of Nassau County are instrumental in promoting the prevention, treatment and recovery efforts that save lives,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I am grateful for their ongoing commitment to this vital mission and thank them for continuing to shine a light upon the loved ones we lost too soon.”
