(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nasau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) proudly supported the Freeport Fire Department Underwater Search and Rescue Squad’s 40th annual clam bake fundraiser at The Helm Bar & Grill on Saturday, Oct. 4. “Freeport’s nautical attractions have made it a regional waterfront destination for generations of families – and this makes it essential for our first responders to be equipped to respond to emergencies on land and at sea,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I thank the Freeport Fire Department for their unwavering service to our community and was glad to see such strong support for this event.”
