
(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Legislator Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) proudly joined the community and their colleagues in government at the Incorporated Village of Freeport’s annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 8. The Legislators honored Jennifer Melendez, Aramis Tavares, Freeport Police Department Officer Victor Reyes, and Freeport Fire Department firefighter William Villalobos for their many contributions to the community.
“This year’s outstanding honorees from Freeport’s Hispanic community have done so much to uplift, serve, and positively impact all of our lives through excellence in their respective fields,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “It was a pleasure to recognize their efforts and join Mayor Kennedy and our colleagues in celebrating such a momentous occasion.”
