(BALDWIN, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined residents in celebrating the arrival of fall during the fifth annual Grand Baldwin Festival on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Organized by the Community Coalition of Baldwin, the Festival featured an array of vendors, live music, food, art, and fun for the whole family. The Legislators were joined by former Nassau Legislator Wayne Wink (D – Mineola) and Hempstead School Board Trustee Joylette Williams in enjoying the autumn festivities.
“It has been wonderful to watch the Grand Baldwin Festival grow each year and become an annual tradition that the community looks forward to as fall begins,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I applaud the organizers, volunteers, vendors and sponsors for working together to celebrate the best of Baldwin and strengthen the fabric of our community!”
“Under sunny autumn skies, Baldwin’s community spirit, civic pride, and rich diversity were in full bloom – and the sense of unity we all experienced was tremendously uplifting,” Legislator Davis said. “It was a pleasure to be part of an event with such a welcoming atmosphere, and I appreciate everyone who contributed to the success of the fifth annual Grand Baldwin Festival.”
