(SOUTH HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) had the honor of participating in the South Hempstead Memorial Day parade on Sunday, May 26. Presented by the South Hempstead Fire Department and the South Hempstead Civic Association, Legislator Mulé was joined at the event by her colleagues in government, the South Side Middle School Marching Band, the South Hempstead Police Athletic League, Girl Scout, Brownie and Daisy troops, and more.
“The beautiful weather and strong community support for this annual event made it a perfect setting for honoring all who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country,” Legislator Mulé said. “Thank you to the South Hempstead Fire Department, the South Hempstead Civic Association and all who participated for making this a wonderful community event.”
