Legislator Mule - Cerebral Palsy Foundation 1

(ROOSEVELT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) and her staff toured the 15-acre Roosevelt campus of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County on Thursday, Jan. 9.

Since its launch in 1948, CP Nassau has grown to serve nearly 1,500 clients by providing programs and services that help maximize their independence, including but not limited to a school for children ages 2 – 21, an adult day program, residential programs, and a state-of-the art medical and primary care clinic.

“For generations, the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County has embraced a noble mission of empowering children and adults with disabilities to thrive and live their lives with maximum independence,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “My staff and I tremendously enjoyed our tour and were greatly inspired by the diligence and care with which the entire CP Nassau team works with their clients on a daily basis.”
