(FREEPORT, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined Janna Rodriguez and supporters at the Innovative Day Care Corp on Monday, May 12 for the “Day Without Child Care - From Playroom to Podium” rally for childcare justice.
“Throughout my career as a social worker, I have witnessed the transformational importance of childcare resources, and I believe that it is our moral imperative to ensure that families have access to safe and reliable services throughout our region,” Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Mulé said. “I was proud to stand with Janna to raise awareness of this vital issue and embrace the message that, at its core, childcare is community care.”
