(INWOOD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislators Seth I. Koslow (D – Merrick) and Olena Nicks (D – Uniondale) joined with members and supporters of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Correction Officers Benevolent Association (COBA) at their annual Widows and Children’s Fund Golf Outing at the Inwood Country Club on Monday, July 14.
The Nassau COBA Widows and Children's Fund was established in 2006 to benefit the families of deceased Nassau County Correction Officers who died while in active service in the Department. Since its inception, this fund has distributed over $59,000 to families impacted by an untimely line-of-service death.
