LEGISLATOR GAYLOR ATTENDS CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY FOR 2ND BATTALION OF THE 25TH MARINE REGIMENT 


On July 19th, Nassau County Legislator C. William Gaylor III (Third from left) joined with Presiding Officer Richard Nicolello to honor the outgoing commander and incoming commander of the 2nd battalion of the 25th Marine Regiment during their Change of Command ceremony in Garden City. The outgoing commander, Lt Col James G. Sweeney is retiring from the Marine Corps and relinquishing his duties as inspector instructor. Lt. Col John R. Bitonti II will be taking the command.
