LEGISLATOR GAYLOR ANNOUNCES IMPROVEMENTS TO LYNBROOK ROADS
In conjunction with the Nassau County Department of Public Works, Legislator C. William Gaylor III is pleased to announce the completed and upcoming road improvements that will be happening in Lynbrook.
Already, Atlantic Avenue from Sunrise Highway north to Merrick Road and Hempstead Avenue from Merrick Road to Peninsula Boulevard have been completed. The work consisted of milling and repaving the entire roadways. Scranton Avenue from Atlantic Avenue to Peninsula Boulevard will be completed later this year.
“I am thrilled to announce to the people of Lynbrook, that I have successfully gotten the County to repave and fix our roads, and more work will be coming!” Legislator Gaylor said. “These improvements raise the quality of life for residents of District 6 and make traveling safer and easier.”
Legislator Gaylor also announced the upcoming road improvements for next year, including: Franklin Avenue from the LIRR tracks to Hendrickson Avenue/Hempstead Avenue; Broadway from Prospect Avenue to Sunrise Highway; Lakeview Avenue from Hempstead Avenue to Ocean Avenue; Scranton Avenue from Horton Avenue to Peninsula Boulevard; and Atlantic Avenue from Main Street to Sunrise Highway.
