Legislator Bill Gaylor recently joined the students of Brooklyn Avenue Elementary School for World Read Aloud Day. He read for two classes at the school and answered the student’s questions.
The books he read aloud were Margot Lee Shetterly and Laura Freeman’s Hidden Figures: The True Story of Four Black Women and the Space Race, and Emily Arnold McCully’s Marvelous Mattie: How Margaret E. Knight Became an Inventor.
