Republican county legislators sworn in for the new term


On Monday, January 10th, Bill Gaylor was sworn in for a new term in the Nassau County Legislature for the 14th Legislative Session covering 2022-2023.

Former Congressman Peter King administered the oath of office to the Majority Caucus of the Legislature at an induction ceremony held in the Peter J. Schmitt Legislative Chamber.

“It is an honor to have been sworn in to serve another term as legislator for the 6th district,” Legislator Bill Gaylor said. “I look forward to taking on the challenges that lie ahead over the next two years and will continue my efforts to cut taxes, provide resources to address the COVID pandemic, and support our veterans and seniors while making our entire community a better place to live.”
