Nassau County Legislator Bill Gaylor attended a Back the Blue rally at Lynbrook High School on February 9th with Hempstead Town Councilman Anthony D’Esposito, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, Lynbrook Village Mayor Alan Beach, the Lynbrook Village Board, Lynbrook Police Commissioner Brian Paladino, the Lynbrook Board of Education, Lynbrook High School Principal Joseph Rainis, Superintendent Melisa Burak, the Lynbrook High School Student Government Association and numerous students. The rally was meant to show solidarity with Nassau County’s brave police officers and to honor NYPD Officers Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora who were murdered.
“Thank you to Lynbrook High School for hosting a Support the Blue event today and for their expressed support of law enforcement,” Legislator Gaylor said. “Supporting our law enforcement is not a political stance, but rather recognizing the sacrifices that officers and their families make daily to keep us safe. Thank you to Principal Rainis for supporting that.”
