(HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) joined the Hempstead community at Kennedy Memorial Park for the Village’s inaugural Children’s Self-Defense Awards showcase on Monday, Aug. 31. During the event, he honored Grand Master Sensei Aaron Allen for his commitment to enriching the lives of local children through martial arts instruction.
“For nearly six decades, Aaron Allen has dedicated his life to the pursuit of excellence in martial arts – and during that time, he has imparted the lessons of discipline, honor and self-respect into thousands of young pupils,” Legislator Davis said. “His commitment to uplifting others is truly admirable, and I appreciate all he does for the children of Hempstead and all of Nassau County!”
