WHAT - Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D - Rockville Centre) is partnering with the Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre to host the community's second annual Dog Meet-Up and Parade on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Canines and their human companions are invited to join the festivities (costumed or not) and enjoy giveaways, raffles, and prizes for best costumes. As part of the event, organizers will be collecting donations of sheets and towels to support the Posh Pets Rescue.
"No matter how old you are, what your background is, or how your politics align, our community’s love and concern for animals is a force that brings us together in a way that few other things can," Legislator Davis said. "As a dog dad myself, I was delighted to see last year's enthusiastic response, I am excited to once again be hosting an event that gives our community a chance to support a great cause like Posh Pets Rescue and have a wonderful time with our four-legged friends.”
