WHAT: Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) is partnering with Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital to provide free flu shots for seniors at the Rockville Centre Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 10. No appointment is required for this clinic, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
“Flu shots are an essential tool for protecting ourselves from illness during the winter months, and the benefits are particularly significant for Nassau County’s senior citizens,” Legislator Davis said. “I am happy to be working with Northwell Health and local community organizations to ensure that everyone who wants this vaccine can receive it conveniently and at no charge.”
