WHAT - Nassau County Legislator Scott M. Davis (D – Rockville Centre) is once again partnering with Northwell Health’s Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital to provide free flu shots for seniors at the Baldwin Public Library, 2385 Grand Ave., Baldwin, N.Y. 11510 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
“Flu shots are an essential tool for protecting ourselves from illness during the winter months, and the benefits are particularly significant for Nassau County’s senior citizens,” Legislator Davis said. “I’m glad that I had the opportunity to roll up my sleeves and get my shot during the Rockville Centre event, and I encourage anyone who wants this vaccine to visit us in Baldwin so that you can receive it conveniently and at no charge.”
